2021 Application Process Opens June 15, 2021
Applying For Funds

The AMBROSE FOUNDATION will accept applications for grants  from June 15th – August 1st  this year(2021).  The applications will be available through the ambrosefoundationinc.org website and must be submitted online to ensure the consistency of the information collected from all applicants. 

When possible, all requests will be reviewed and follow ups will be provided via email.
Applications that are selected to receive funds will be notified on or before August 31st of this year.

The Foundation will only accept one application per organization per year.

Selection Process
All applications are reviewed by Ambrose Foundation selection committee. The selection committee may contact applicants with questions and request more information before presenting a summary of each application and a funding recommendation to the board. Proposals are reviewed and evaluated based on:
  • Their applicant’s  alignment with the Foundation’s funding priorities and mission;
  • The evaluation report from the selection committee’s onsite visit to the applicant’s organization
  • The applicant’s work in community and effectiveness
  • The applicant’s description of how the funds will be utilized
  • The likelihood of achieving measurable, positive impact from the distribution of funds to the applicant’s organization

EIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible to receive donations or funding from the AMBROSE FOUNDATION,
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be a nonprofit organization organized and operated for charitable purposes and recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt public charities under Sections 501 (c)(3) and  509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code.

2. Must be an organization with a mission and purpose of supporting youth in community

3. Must agree to be interviewed and if applicable allow the Ambrose Foundation Selection Committee an onsite visit to the applicant’s facility to evaluate the youth based program(s)/activities in action

4. Must provide written information about how the funds will be used to advance
the mission and purpose of the applying organization

5. Must provide marketing materials or promotional materials for the Ambrose Foundation charity golf tournament. The information will be included in the golfer’s gift bags or the Foundation Sponsor package.

6. Must agree to allow the Ambrose Foundation to help bring awareness to the applicant’s mission and purpose through marketing of the chosen applicants’ organization name, branding and mission statement.

7. Where applicable, must agree to update the applicant’s website and social media outlets to include a link or information banner about the Ambrose Foundation Charity Golf Tournament.

8. Must agree to partner with the Ambrose Foundation and support the Annual Foundation tournament through volunteerism or soliciting golfers to participate in the tournament.

9. Must agree to participate in the Foundation Charity Golf event ceremony by sharing success stories, testimonies or other information about the selected organization that is receiving donations.

10. Must agree to be photographed when receiving the donation from the Ambrose Foundation, the photograph may be used in the Ambrose Foundation marketing campaign.

11. Must agree provide a written follow up report (if funds are granted) within 6 months of receiving the donation to explain how the funds were used..
